Hey Y’all! My name is Liz and I’m currently a college student trying to chase my dreams at becoming a professional photographer. I was born and raised in Texas so you could say that I’m a southern bell. I’ve had a love for photography since I was young. I used to spend all of my birthday money on disposable cameras because I thought they were the coolest things. It wasn’t until I reached the point in time where young adults should be thinking about what they’re going to do after high school that I realized photography is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. Everyone always says Photography is a hard career to pursue because you won’t make a living very easily. But when you’re young you’re also told to follow your dreams and do what makes you happy. Once you grow older that concept fades away because people are so worried about money. I decided to stick to what I was taught growing up and follow my dreams. Maybe it won’t be easy, maybe I’ll have tough days, maybe I’ll want to quit but I’ll never know any of this if I don’t try. I know I’ll make a living some how and along with a living I get a life because I’ll be happy with what I’m doing. Being happy with what you’re doing is not the first deciding factor for everyone but it’s definitely mine.
